Please help Nicole Cahill

In October 2004 Nicole Cahill, a perfectly normal, funloving healthy little girl, six years old, became seriously ill while being treated for a viral infection by her local doctor. Nicole was rushed to Wexford General Hospital and two days later to Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin. Nicole spent 24 days in a coma, unresponsive and completely oblivious to the world around her...doctors warned that if she came out of the coma she would be extremely brain-damaged.
While in a coma Nicole's brain swelled, putting pressure on the main artery to the brain and she suffered a stroke. Where there is life there is hope and the Heavens were stormed with prayer after prayer .
Nicole regained consciousness and started the long road to recovery ... she spent 4 months in Temple Street Children's Hospital and 8 months in the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoighre, Dublin.
Her final diagnosis was that of acute disseminating encephalitis (inflammation of the brain) and she has subsequently been diagnosed with spastic quadraparesis.
At present Nicole is confined to a wheelchair, her motor skills are limited and her hands are also affected.
Thankfully, on an intellectual level Nicole is on a par with children her own age and has no problems communicating.
Despite all that this little girl has been through she remains a delightful, extremely spirited, happy and adjusted child and she is an inspiration to all of us. The Health System in Ireland, with all its limitations, cannot give Nicole the cutting edge surgical intervention that is needed to improve her situation and let her be the best that she can be. Her family have consulted with surgeons in New York and it has been decided that Nicole will travel to New York in June to undergo rigorous testing and surgical intervention.
Needless to say, Nicole's illness has been an awful drain on her family, both emotionally and financially .... but, as any good parent would, they are willing to risk everything thlly have to see their child well again.
You can help too...please pray jor Nicole and the Doctors that treat her .... and please donate whatever you can to "The Nicole Cahill Fund""
THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS
