- Started fiddling on my 50th birthday after 30 years of playing classical guitar. Can't stop fiddling. Dust on my guitar. I play in a duo called Battlefield Balladeers which recreates the music of the American Civil War. I play in an historically oriented dance group called Bog Oak Harmonians. I also play gigs on my own. I also have a part time job.

Happy (belated) St-Patrick's day..!
I don't like recordings either..! Especially when comes the time of sharing on the web...! But as you will note, in the Just Fiddling Around group, there is only love for fiddle tunes... and no room for competition..! The idea is simply to be an insentive for everyone to open the case, grab the bow and make noises..!!! ;-)
I can understand your fear of uploading (or even recording..!) audio materials... and I respect it totally..!
But I just wanted to let you know that this specific fear could be overcome, for the sake of the music... Proof... I made it..! ;-)
Anyhow... enjoy as much as you can about life and music..! Great times are the best..!
