I like a lot progressive or Celtic infused music. I grew up in a house hold that listened predominately to Bluegrass and Gospel, but like most teens acquiesced to more modern rock and pop cross overs.
I am glad to hear you have been living life and it has been awesome...although, I like LI, I think people spend way too much time in the virtual world! Counting blessings and prayer are wonderful, I have been focusing on that myself! May all blessings be for you!
Hey there, you are right! I forgot to get back to you on that Lisa Gerrard CD. It is ok, I like her music with Dead Can Dance much better, but some of the tracks are good. I agree, Beautiful Wasteland by Capercaillie is a great song but I really like all their music. So what is new Ms. hdsq? I have not had any time to play on LI for a while. Life is good and full and busy.
Thank you for your wishes. Volunteered fro the parade and enjoyed the Grand Party after. I will be be out tonight to celebrate with friends after work.
I'd better promise to keep you advised when that recording will be available somewhere on the net... in fact we don't have any production yet, but it's on its way. Don't worry, we're a quite little band, but it should be done in 2008!
Hi there Ms. H. - I'm jealous of your 14 inches of snow! I am ready for Spring to get here and stay. We have some flowers blooming already and the Bradford Pear trees are about to explode into huge snowballs of blooms. Have a very Happy St. Patrick's Day - I'll be wearin' the Green to work!
Hi How are you???Are you enjoying the winter? I heard you have had lots of snow and ice...must be fun sliding down the highways....LOL It sounds worse then Minnesota there. We have only about 3-4 inches on the ground here. Alot of our storms have been going East and we have missed them. Lucky us. We love to share the storms...LOL
Are you ready for St Paddys Day? We celebrate this coming Saturday here. Its a full day with a Irish Mass, singing Irish songs, meal of Mulligan Stew, Parade, Talent Show, dance and crowning of Miss Shamrock and Miss Irish Rose.
Irish Blessings and Happy St Patricks Day to ye!
Hugs,
Carol
Snowed in, now really how much snow do you have. I see about two feet on the ground in my back yard and another 6" is coming down tonight. Warming up, I wish that would happen. Today it was -20 oC. I can't wait for it to warm up. I was walking back from work and I realized that I have not seen the pavement on the sidewalk for a month. It's covered with snow and ice. Burrrrrrr
