Some info about me.
My family hails from Co Kildare, Naas to be exact. My uncle was governor of Mount Joy and Arbor Hill respectively at some point in his life. I am first generation american, so no plastic patty here. Im an EMT / Firefighter. Imagine that an irishman in a career like that. Im also an aspiring button box player. I play a Hohner Double Ray C/G scale box that is probably about 50 years old at least. My belonged to my Grandad and his father befor him. my next box is going to be a C/D box. I have heard that you can do more with it, although im not sure how much truth is behind that. I have only been playing about a week now and I can already play the begining of black velvet band. What I really need is an instructor and lots of practice. I have tried my hand at other instruments before but none have ever called to me or excited me as much as the box. It is such a traditional instrument and it runs in the family. I believe that the ability is buried deep within me I just need to dig and unlock that potential. Any advice or help anyone can offer woul be great. I plan on posting some practice clips of me soon. again i would really appreciate any guidance from experienced box players. Thank you for stopping by and have a great day! Slan'

Several of us suspect this is perhaps a group, and almost certainly spammers or trolls. I am writing those "she" contacted to say that, while there are a lot of good people on live ireland, one must be careful anywhere online. I suggest not contacting anyone you don't know outside the confines of Live Ireland security.
Take care!
