I dont we have any that settled in Philly.. My grandfather O'Rourke came into New york in the early 1900's jumped ship on the Hudson to get into the country and settled in NY.
Thomas O'Rourke, he was from the Aran Islands.. He married my Grandmother Katherine Roland of Castlebar who had come in thru ellis in 1909 and they had a family in Brooklyn of Four boys.. shortly after which she found out he had another whole family of O'Rourkes on the otherside of town!!!
None of whom I know or even know if they know about us but Im always Looking for them! a Scandalous divorce followed..that no one spoke about "in English.
