I had friends from Michigan and they had the cutest accents! I'm a sucker for accents. Southern, Youper, etc.

Not better, not worse, just different. And, contrary to popular belief, we're mostly pretty down-to-earth people.

I think the biggest shock for folks that move out here is the different kinds of food. You name it, we have it: tons of Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, Afghan, Mediterranean, Ethiopian... it's all here!
