About Me:: Hello! My name is Katie ( official name is Kathryn) Mullin, and I live in Monroe, Michigan I am also a freshman at Monroe County Community College. My major is in anthropology but when I transfer, I would like to have an emphasis in linguistics or forensics. After I finish my asscociate's degree there, I plan on registering as a university exchange student somewhere in the UK or Ireland. However, I try to take one day at a time and follow God's plans for the future.

Many people ask me how I am going to land a job in the anthropological field, especially when the economy is so bad right now. Well, good question! Recently I have been thinking how it would be so cool to educate private and business sectors about a culture's way of life as well as their mores and norms before they go abroad to visit or work in that country. Many citizens of the Western world tend to become ethnocentric and are naive towards other culture's customs, so there is definitely a need to do something in this area.

Finally, I would like to state that I keep my priorities straight. Consider the following: 1. My number one priority in life is God. Knowing God has certainly changed the way I see the world and I have come to the realization that this relationship supercedes religion. 2. My second priority is family. I'm definitely thankful for my family. They are always there for me when I need them, and I am blessed to have them. 3. My third priority consists of school and careers. I place school at a high priority since you definitely need an education to live in the society around you and receive a sufficient occupation

Favorite Music:: I listen to mainly Celtic music such as Celtic Woman, Enya, Riverdance and Gaelic Storm, Natalie MacMaster and the Chieftains. I also listen to Christian music as God is a dominant source in my life. Michael W. Smith, Third Day, Rebecca St. James, Christ Tomlin and Tobymac are some of my favorites!
