About Me:
Single mother now of two teenage daughters and one teenage son. My oldest daughter having Downs Syndrome has taught me how to appreciate all the little things in life and to take each day as a living miracle. I am passionate about my music of which I've been involved in since a very young girl. I'm involved in a living history society where we research and recreate the arts and sciences of the medieval thru rennessaince time period. Cooking, sewing, working in my small rose garden are just a few things that I do in my spare time

Celtic music both traditional and contemporary is my absolute favorite. Jazz, Big Band, Classical and some country are follow ups.

Finally! I found the words!!

After all these years of hearing the song Ashokan Farewell, someone FINALLY puts the words with the music. This song is always performed as an instrumental, now with the words I hope that I can do the lyrics with it as well. It was one of those songs that every time I heard I always thought something was missing. I mean, it sounded like it needed words. Well there is words. So, my plan is to get together my old Irish band and perform this song WITH the lyrics.

Hello joan all been well i hope and you have an interesting profile and yes life is a gift and a privilege and must be cultivated in the right manner for enjoyment. Yes the weather here so far has been typical for spring average to nice days and the occasional warm day but it is early days. :)
