There are four things I love - good coffee, running, travel and Celtic Music! Love to meet others who love any or all of those. Or I would just love to make some new friends.
I was given a tape by the manufacturer and there is a website from Quebec that has a tutorial (Alex posted it on his forum). I took a lesson from a musician that I met at a festival... after the lesson, he said all I needed to do was practice more. I took it to festivals as I was selling my leather there. There is a pub here where they meet weekly, but musicians keep later hours than me.
I am starting to play along to the music on here more often. One of my brothers told me of a drumming group in his neighbourhood so I may check them out. I was in another but the woman running it was spending too much energy soliciting students to teach.
I love playing it. Look for a manufacturer close to you if you purchase. I had to mail mine back to Ireland for a repair. I recommend you get a tunable one. I should have and regret not doing it first.
There are several groups on Face Book and Yahoo has a group. I learned how to make mine tunable off the Yahoo group.
