I am Greg from Erlanger, Ky (south of Cincinnati, Ohio where I was born & raised). I have been screwing around with the fiddle for years but not really serious about it. Too many family issues & long hours at the office make things very frustating...
If you sing, play the bodhrán, or have even an inch of musical talent, come in and relax.
This group is basically for Irish folk music, irish Bands, Tour dates, News and information. Also including Folk Dancing and Singing.
Its nice to Know your Neighbors. You never know when you will need of a Good Bodhran player from OHIO!
The group is open to musicians from, residing in or traveling thru the "Midwest" & All the folks who love the music!

- I am a celtic music fanatic. I play the fiddle, live in Erlanger, Ky (although I was born in Cinciinati, Ohio). I have four children. I come from a very Irish family whose roots are from Tuam in County Galway. Although many of my family members have travelled to Tuam & Ireland, I am still looking forward to my first trip.

- I can't blame you not doing pub concerts. I have asked myself why loving the celtic (folk) music had to be tied to pubs; it's good to see that someone has broken that pattern. I look forward to catching your performance sometime. Slan!

We do come through your area! We do not do pubs though Im afraid. We just dont do the beer drinking crowd music. We are often performing at concert Series , Listening Venues, Festivals and on off Nights we LOVE to do House Concerts. If you know of anyone that might want to Host a house concert on an OFF night of the week we will be happy to follow through on it!
We certainly hope to see you along the Way in Feb.
