I've studied modern British and Irish history in Trinity College, Dublin, and published articles in the Irish Echo, The Civil War News, The Washington Times, Newsday, and various other publications. I also worked as a staff writer and copy editor for Gannett Westchester Newspapers and USA Today. I worked for Prodigy Services Inc. as a news editor, as a producer Newsday's award-winning web site, newsday.com, and as copy editor at office.com. I'm a magna-cum-laude graduate of Duke University, majoring in mathematics and have a Masters degree in journalism from New York University.
