3rd generation New Zealander but 1/4 Irish and have been back in 2007 to check out where my ancestors came from. Will be back again in 2009. Currently learning Irish at night classes.
Hi Erin, thanks for the virtual pint!
I really enjoy having LiveIreland on while doing computer or office work. Although I'm 3rd generation New Zealander, two of my Gt-Grandparents came from Ireland and Riverdance triggered an interest in the music. My wife & I had a week in Co.Wicklow last year (first time in Ireland) and we are going back for about 4 weeks next year. 24 hours in a plane seat is a bit long, but worth it! I have been learning Irish off bbc.co.uk and currently night classes at a local high school.
tóg go bog é!
