Well. I managed to pick up an infection on my trip to Birmingham. As a result, my audition was more difficult than I would have liked. Still I got nibbles from Clemmons Casting (they cast touring companies) and Theatre by the Sea in Rhode Island. ...

The little sugar glider as shown is native to this area. They are unbeleivably cute.
I shall pass that info on to my Son Dirk. He has always loved his name.
My oldest son is in Germany now and has sent me some very plain postcards from there. Contrasting from another trip when he was in Paris and the post cards were stunning.
Good luck with all that.

Hi Dirk, my youngest son has the same name as you. I thought it was a Scottish name. I actually had seen the name of a Cricket player in the paper at the time he was born and liked it.
How's the off to Ireland plans going.
Do you speak Irish well?

No problem; ya, I've been quite busy lately with my music career and because of it, the group is going a bit slower than usual, but it's still a great place to be none the less! It would definitely be to your benefit to join, I only allow musicians in, so it is quite a constructive group.

Welcome to LI, I myself am a piano player and a keyboardist. I am also the leader of the group 'General Musician Chat'. You should check it out and join if you feel like talking with other musicians. Talk to you later,

Back from Germany and Crazy things

Well, I actually got back from Germany in Late August and hit the ground running. I'm performing as "Uncle Billy" in the Annual "It's a Wonderful Life" production this Winter at French Lick, Indiana. I'm also working their "Ghost Train" show during October. I need to post some Germany pictures here in a scrapbook as soon as I get a few minutes. Between the theatre work, the menial job, and trying to start a business I'm obviously in "manic" mode. I am the king of too much to do for some reason.… Continue

Life Update

Two vocal auditions; one movie audition; lots of menial labor. Divorce papers filed--waiting on future ex-wife to do hers. Passport photo taken today, plane tickets to Germany to be ordered by end of week.

That's the quick list. I'm still struggling with writing, but I've had a slight breakthrough and am hopeful my mind will finally arise from the fog of this whole insane last few years. I'm back at the gym on a regular basis, but banned from the pool until my thumb heals from the "box cutter i… Continue

Home from Birmingham

Well. I managed to pick up an infection on my trip to Birmingham. As a result, my audition was more difficult than I would have liked. Still I got nibbles from Clemmons Casting (they cast touring companies) and Theatre by the Sea in Rhode Island.

I also managed to get some rough videos to Landau Talent for a cruise ship job singing and playing the guitar. They are of poor quality, but here they are:
