- Greetings Charles! Thanks for your well written reply. I was unable to access the website link you included stating it was forbidden to access. The only talent I know I have is I am Scottish/Irish and now I find myself gazing in music store windows at instruments (grin). yes, I understand fear of success as much as the greater on, fer of failure. You have won half the battle by already knowing what your passions are in life. All that is needed now is setting your focus and going for it! What have you lost if it does not pan out monentarily as planned? that is the bigger question to ask oneself when stepping out on the big branches of life. I believe you will lose nothing and gain a whole lot more then you will lose. If it's about the money, remember it's only money and can be replaced in another form of endevour. I just know this deep down in my gut that we have to take that first huge step and the fear will be replaced by courage and strength to do more great things. Do not let the unknown paralize you..see it for what it is and stand up to it and you will be a hit. Surround yourself with winners and shake off the others who may be holding you back. Not easy but in order for anyone to aspire to their higheset calling we have to make certain sacrifices, know what they are, and go forward. Learning about business and marketing yourself will go a long way too. What is your educational background? Looking forward to hearing from you

Irish session on Wednesdays and I have another monthly jam I go to.
There are other venues, but I work full time and I can't be out every night. I just did a workshop with Randal Bays this morning. He is an
Irish fiddler and lives on Whidbey Island.
By the way I am seriously thinking about doing Megan Lynch's weekend
intensive in Nashville at her house at the end of April. I hope to stay over and see the Timejumpers. I hope they are playing then.

- Irish Trad. The list of players is too long to enter here. Love the fiddle, but the box players are wonderful, the pipers are amazing, the flute players are not to be missed. we may be able to skip the bodhrans, but I guess there is room for every one.... or is there?

book update
my book has made it through the editing process, and is now in the design process. The book cover and book size, and font choice is all being done as I type.
Closer, we are getting closer.
This is a very long long long long long process.
But it is still exciting to be apart of this whole process.
None of this has made me any money yet, and i have been forced to do a couple of different things to earn a living as I wait for the book to arrive. This can rob me of all my time for the creativ… Continue

new web site.
I know I have posted that I'm starting a creative business, and that I was going to keep posting as things progressed. Well, things have been slow. But the book is in production!!!!! This month is copy editing. Next month, conceptual editing. Still don't have a date for the book being done, just part of the game i suppose.
But I do have a new web site. It will be my podcast/blog/photography/storytelling site. I'm going to be a busy boy.

Today I started the process of editing my book. Yep I gotta book deal!!!!
What an ordeal. I enjoy it of coarse, but still there is more work involved than I first thought.
Also, trying to decide what avenue I should take with the whole making money thing. For those who don't know I did get laid off form my now former job. starting a creative business.... oh yea.
This is my first attempt at the blogging thing, but here goes.
I love to tell stories, (not the kind to try and get out of trouble) but ones that say something about the positive side of the human experience. Stories about dedication, respect, honor, ect.
Any way, I have a passion about sharing these with any interested in listening, and am hoping to earn a living at it as well. Don't have all the specifics yet, but am slowly filling in the pieces.
