- I am second generation Irish and working on aquiring my Irish Citizenship. My favorite food is raw potato cakes that my grandmother made (they are eaten cooked). I love everything Irish including myself. I want to return to my Ireland past and find all my relations. I love to ride my Ducati and being outdoors. My grandchildren are the most important thing in my life. I am a retired Fire Chief and now teach. My favorite color is green of course and I love to hear the Irish talk. I am an O'Neill, Quigley, Rooney, Leahey (these I know of) and I am sure there are more names I am related to.

Laura G said… - Brendan ~ Unfortunately, I cannot cook. I especially cannot cook any of the things the Irish men seem to like, so that surely isn't going to work for me! I know you will make it over there and when you get there, you won't want to come back to the states, you will probably feel even more strongly about that because of your close heritage. Airfare now is quite reasonable, so don't put it off too long....and I heard a rumor that because of our economy and people not traveling as much, the deals in Ireland will get better and better. Maybe I'll see you there! Laura
