About Me:: I'm a 34 year old guy with a lovely girlfriend who has two kids. I have a wide range of interests of which the stranger or less standard ones are (modern) paganism, playing the bodhran, painting, listening to all kinds of music (see below), nature and of course Ireland and all things Celtic.

Favorite Music:: Irish trad: Flook, Cara, Comas, Dave Munnely, Helen Flaherty and Philip Masure, chieftains, Altan, Christy Moore, The Bothy band, Dervish and so on.

Rasa (spiritual music from india, mantras and bhajans), Loreena mc Kennitt,
Gothic metal and a lot of other kinds of music

Currently Reading? (Books Magazines etc): Tibetan peaches by Carolijn Visser, The sacred Cut by David Hewson, books by Paulo Coelho and so on.

Favourite Place?: Clonmacnoise (co. Offaly), Galway (co. Galway :-) ), Kilkee (co. Clare), Westport (co. Mayo) and a lot of other places in Ireland

I'd like to come to Holland next summer, I'm studying Dutch at university and it would be useful too :) but I'm planning a 2 week-holiday in Ireland since I couldn't go back there last year, and I just need to see that place again to find some peace and relax.

Yeah I own their discography, but not the DVD, I should look for it.. I hope I can see them in Italy someday, even if the best bands play abroad :(
Unfortunately folk music is not really appreciated in my country, people like commercial music more, and whoever owns a local (even a big one) is afraid of inviting bands whose music genre wouldn't gather lots and lots people. Well, it's a money matter. It sucks. Luckily there are some celtic and medieval festivals in Northern Italy, where interesting bands play, and they're great!
