At 5:30pm on May 22, 2009, Sandy said…: Wow, I'm jealous. We do not have anything that cool up here. We do have a Folk Festival and Bluegrass Festival, and a few others like that, but nothing like the one you are describing.
We had a terrible winter as well. Worst one in a while. We had almost 3 straight weeks where it didn't get above -20 at my house. People had pipes freezing all over the place and the cost of Firewood kept going up! After barely having a summer and having a long cold winter....this sun is much needed.

The weather has been a million times nicer then last year where we got rain every day almost. Unfortunately this year is starting out to look like the weather we had about 11 or 12 years ago...gorgeous out, but really high fire risk. Back in like 97 or 98 we had the Millers Reach Fire that took out lots of homes and trees. Hopefully we will get some raining days scattered throughout the summer. How's Chicago?

(Heart Made of Glass...have you heard that one?? Any good? the snipits I listened to sounded pretty cool). So I might just check out the site you mentioned and see if they have some stuff I can't get here!
