Duncan McFarlane said… I am proud indeed to welcome you as my new friend on Live Ireland. I see that you are from Co Cavan, I could not say that I know that area very well, having only passed through. I have however, met some very nice people from Cavan. My wife is from Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal, where we have a home. We live in Stirling in Central Scotland, but visit Arran at every opportunity, it really is a different world...so refreshing, (especially if you like refreshment). I look forward to keeping in touch with you, have a great Christmas and a peaceful, prosperous New Year, D.

I left some photos of knives on my wall, could only leave 3 for the day. If you wanted to see all at once I could email them to you. I am at ssheehan@tritel.net. If you see anything you like I will send and individual picture and descriiption.

Don't know if the price or the blade length was too much for you. The antler handled O-1 knives are a good value when looking for a custom made knife here. I have a craft fair comming up next month so I have a good inventory at present. Blade lengths from just over 2" up to 3.5", made from spring steel and file steel with wood or horn handles. Prices from $50. I could send some pictures if you would be interested.
