Anglican great grandfather, Abraham Newman, had a linen factory in Cork, moving there from somewhere in (probably northern) England. When he moved his linen operations to Cork, he was probably doing what is now called "outsourcing" to make use of cheaper labor and maybe cheaper land prices. Married to Jennie Jo Jago, a French Hugenot of Spanish extraction. I'd e happy to hear from anyone with previous knowledge of these peolple. Presently live where I grew up in Baton Royge, LA. U.S.A.
