I have been interested in St. Finn Barre for many years. To date, I did not know that there is a cathedral in Cork which has him as its patron saint. Such a great pleasure to know this now! I am an Irish-American, living in Casper, Wyoming, in Natrona County, Wyoming. Casper is our county seat. There is an active Irish and Irish-American community in Casper and in Natrona County. Mike Sullivan is our esteemed and much-loved former governor. We have many descendants of Irish immigrants in Natrona County and Wyoming. They came to get into the sheep ranching business and eventually prospered well. One is Eugene McCarthy, who is a distant cousin. My maternal grandparents are Thomas Edward Trainor and Anna Katherine Gray Trainor. My mother is Anne Therese Trainor Davis. My father, Lewis Joseph Davis, is of Welsh descent. All of my Trainor and Davis relatives are descendants of early-day ranchers and farmers in Pueblo, Otero, and Crowley Counties, Colorado. Proud to be a Celtic, indeed!
