I just bought Taroquin Blake's Book....Abandoned Mansions of Irleand...I'd like to visit everyone of them in person...

but I  know that is unlikely so the book is really great to look at. I wonder where this one is located.

So many lovely homes in Ireland were left by their owners, who were likely wealthy owners of more than one home, without a roof -- to avoid paying taxes.   Would be an expensive undertaking, I'm sure, to rehabilitate such a place.  Imagine the heating bills, especially in that cold, snowy winter scene.
