the real title of this work is gan-in-japanstempel.de/gallery/japan/contact.html. It is a japanese play with words. the word "kaidan" means "stairs", but "Kwaidan" also means "ghost-tales" (a famous compilation of ghost stories of Lafcardio Hearn). The fox in Japan is a mistyrious creature, able to change its appaerance to folly passbyers.
I was just taking photographs at this staircase when suddenly a young fox appeared, looked at me, found there was no reason to be frightened and went on, up the staircase. I was so amazed I could not take a photograph, so I just added the fox by hand (digital painting)
