Bob White Oranges Processing Plant

The hulk of the abandoned Bob White citrus packing plant is still in place to the west of Ormond Beach, in DeLeon Springs Fl on the tracks of the old Atlantic Coastline Railroad/Seaboard Coastline Railroad now CSX Railroad -- The packing house was shut down after a Christmas Day freeze that killed the orange trees --- that was 1983. It is considered significant to Florida's history though I had never heard of it until I stumbled upon the ruins while cruising from fishing hole to fishing hole.
