Daingean-Protestant-Church-170

The churchyard of the Protestant Church in Daingean, Co. Offaly. Most of it was demolished in the 1950s when there was only one Protestant family in Daingean. Daingean used to be called Philipstown, Kings Co.

I appreciate you giving us the name and history of the church. I went to Ireland last year and loved it so much. We just can't go this year due to the recession in the states, thus your pictures let us remember what it was like. Thanks for posting. :) Lisa
