Thanks for your answer Rike. So funny, I was there the week before you and we nearly could have met on that path...or in Doolin wherever, without knowing that we were in touch here sometimes!!! ;))) Great, and I'm happy for you that you've been able to go in Ireland again... and I'm looking forward to see your new photos! But I'm not very often on Live Ireland either, and especially since they stopped the live webcam in Dublin! That used to make me feel overthere sometimes... But I'll see them one day, no worry! ;)

hi Sylvie - sorry for my late reply - wasn't much on liveireland lately (*hangsherheadinshame*) ;-)

Most of my older photos (like this one) have been taken analog with a Minolta X700 :-) Glad you like this one, I'm very fond of it, too. I went back to this place last week and took some other shots, this time digitally.

thank you all for the lovely comments :-) I will go back to Ireland for a one week vacation in October :-) I hope to capture some great moments and places... Much too long ago that I went to this beautiful country...

Great shot!  Wish we were there.  We took the "Hooker" one time to Inishmore and the sea was so rough and nearly everyone was putting their blue bags to use, and people on the boat hoped we'd stop at Inisheer to get off the boat asap rather than go all the way to Inishmore.  Well, we did go to Inishmore, and on our return trip the sea was still a bit rough so the boat stopped at Inisheer for a couple hours until the sea calmed down (either that or just to throw a little business to the couple pubs on Inisheer).  Would love to get there again.  Thanks for the photo to remind us how beautiful the Irish coast is.

That is a great photograph. I think I would be getting flood insurance with the size of those waves. Hahaha

The funny thing is, the house and the cows are way above the water on a cliff, from this perspective it looks like the water is almost the same level as the foreground. We wanted to go to Inisheer that day, but the waves were much too high. It took us three days until we were able to go to Inisheer by ferry. And still the water was rough *g*. But it was fun... I loved it there.
