Vercingetorix

Welcome in my barn! Here I make my woodcarving stuff while I'm listening and enjoying traditional Irish Folk. This sculpture is Vercingetorix (based on the famous statue). He was the one who did unite the Celtic tribes to fight Julius Ceasar. Unfortunately he had to surrender at Alesia, which meant the final defeat of the Celts in the European continent. Thank God the Romans never did reach Ireland and the Isles!
