@mach2 (a.k.a Jeff): if you have an iPhone, you can get one of those apps who helps you find music, like MusicID or Shazam. If you don't have an iPhone, I know that these things are available on other mobile phones too, I just don't know what they're called. :-) They will probably not recognize all the songs LI play, but you should be able to find quite a few.
I've been home recording on my pc for decades.. I'm sure it's the same with the USA methods of broadcasting for decades.. sometimes you get a nice cut but so what??!!! I like the transitions with little advertising..
What really bugs me is I'd like to know who played what!!!! Like for decades I have all these songs in my head and I don't know who the hell the band is!! (and no I'm not going to watch my pc screen and certainly not some I pad deal!!! So I just put up with the good music and no idea of what to buy because I don't know the names of the bands or solos.
So if you're on a tight budget at L I ?.. might reconsider getting a cut of the revenue~~!!
Thankfully our vat is being reduced on many tourist items including accommodations, restaurants, theatres and Dublin Airport retailers making it easier for our friends around the world to visit us.
The reduction introduced effective from 1st July is dropping from 13.5% to 9%.
There's never been a better time to visit Dublin.

Just a note to everyone in the Chat. I know things have been very quiet as of late in the Chat and with live progs etc. This is due to both my work schedule and Bernard's end of year student interviews etc. Initially the intention was to kick start programming in June but I've decided to leave it until the end of next month as I should have more time and a new iPhone and Android app is in the making. We're running LI on a much tighter budget than before but we hope to the make the most of it in the comming months.
Thanks all for you patience.
Alan..i am sure everything will turn out good for you. Hope to catch ya soon on the Chatroom. Best wishes and enjoy the winter while we getting some pretty heat in the next days..ugghhh!
Gooday to both of you.I hope you are both fighting fit & enjoying summer.Everything is pretty good here although it`s winter.
I`m continuing to survive quite well although the medical profession is poised to carry out a cardiac bypass procedure on me in a couple of months.
