Irish Peace Tower at Messines in Belgium. Built partially of stone from a former British Army barracks in County Tipperary, and stone from a work-house outside Mullingar, County Westmeath, the 34m tower is designed to allow the sun to light the interior on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month annually.
