Bailey was imported from Ireland.I was hired to ride him in olympic level crosscountry and stadium jumping events here in America.Bailey was aggressive and huge, almost 18 hands tall, and was a consistant winner. We were fast Irish friends. His owners hardly saw him.But we belonged to each other, paperwork of ownership aside-I drew this portrait of himself.
Horses and the Irish are intertwined in seamless form for generations. They have always been my friends, partners, and good mates all round throughout my life.I was riding before I could walk well.
