I've been reading 'Celtic Myths And Legends' by Peter Berresford Ellis and really like the story of The Children of Lir.  I haven't finished it yet, but I'm having trouble keeping some of the charictures straight.

Hi, I´m not Irish nor live in Eyre, but I´ve allways felt attracted to the Celtic culture (please don´t ask why, it just happens) You can find Táin Bó Cuailgne on-line here:http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/cool/index.htm. You can also see http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/celt/index.htm. If you are also interested on other culture, it´s a good place ti find good texts. It´s been my primary source of info when I lived in Cuba and I hadn´t much access to information.

Hope you enjoy it.

HI everyone with my high interest in everything that is myth and irish folklore, I came across a very old book. In fact is that old that it was written in old irish... The Táin Bó Cúalnge. I found it translated in French (belgium) from old irish !! ( well old gaeilge !!)

IT the story of the mythical creation of Ulster. It a really strange book, hard to read but really fantastic you can feel the energy from that book that differ from other book... really a treasure.
if you come accross it dont leave it behind !

It the story of lot of hero from celtic ireland. THe most famous of all beiing of course : Cuchulainn !! but also the the Queen Medb and Aillil !
