With locations in Dublin, Galway and Cork I can recommend this hostel as a good, cheap place to stay. Accomodations are plain but clean and serviceable. Free Internet and WiFi and a kitchen. Fruits and bread for breakfast. For the price, you can't go wrong. http://www.kinlayhouse.ie/

I agree! A friend and I stayed here for just a few days, but it was great. We were in the one in Dublin, it's in walking distance of lots of stuff (course we walked everywhere so maybe that doesn't count...) The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and we even made friends with our roommate! Felt completely safe there.
