Have been using a cheaper fiddle to learn how to play again but now I am ready to move up to a better sounding fidddle. Does anyone have any suggestions on what fiddle to purchase next? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Played the fiddle as a child and just picked it up a few months ago and teaching myself all over again, love it

Been away for a while with my PC in storage.  Now I can't remember any of my passwords and so can't access my mails, etc.

I want to share something with all my fiddlin friends  that has helped my fiddling enormously.   There is a program called INTONIA.  It has a free 30 day trial and is not expensive to purchase if you like it.

This program tracks your intonation/pitch on a graph while recording it.  You can go back and view the graph and see exactly where your pitch goes off and work on that specifically.  The graph line turns blue when you are flat and red when you go sharp.

Hello fellow Irish "fiddleheads"!

I'm amazed at how many people out there are taking up the fiddle these days. Nice to see so many (who play other instruments) want to try their hand at this beautiful instrument. It's the only thing that helps me keep my sanity. It gives me joy and peace like nothing else.

Help! I remember hearing a song (long ago) about man with a hunchback who pleased the fairies by adding some words to their song and was rewarded by having his hump taken away.
I remember the chorus was Da Luan Da Mort. But I can't find that tune anywhere! Does anyone know it?
