I have a violin !!
Hi welcome everyone from that group of just fiddling around !
As most of you know, i wanted a violin and finally got one.. you can see it on my page! I have begin to play it. It not easy but it big fun :) I really have to get to be able to do everything that is required to play tought, there so much that you have to think of !! the right tempo, the right bow stroke, the note, the position of the bow, and how to put your finger in the right place !!!
but i'm slowly beginning to be able to play two simple song
a french one : Frère Jacque and a english song if i could say : twinkle twinkle
I wanted to let you know how i was doiing because you have been a big help and encouragement when i wanted, in the beggining, to learn the violin :)

Please keep us informed with your learning process and progress...! I'm sure it could helps lots of *fiddle lovers* into their decision making... like in *does it worth to give it a try?* with such a *weird* instrument...?

Je crois que le violon est un instrument difficle a apprendre mais une fois appris
il devient comme ton meilleur ami et une vrai relation d'amour naît !!
I think that when you learn the violin and that you are good it a real love relationship that occur and start between the player and the instrument !! -

Tout d'abord bravo pour l'achat de ton violon tu verra aprés on a du mal à s'en passé,il faut que tu commence par des morceau lents et facile (des morceaux enfantins et des ballades Irlandaise)et pour te chauffé fais des pousse tir sur les cordes a vide pas trop vite pour d'abord avoir un bon son et un bonne equilibre avec ton archet (pour évité que ton son tremble) ,fais aussi des attaques sur 1 quart de ton archet (en faite tu pose celui ci au talon et tu fais un tiré,cela te donnera une bonne attaque des cordes pour évité les grincements du debut ) voila quelques conseilles pour débuter ,soit patient a force de travail le résultat est là

Merci Eric pour tes encouragements ! en effet, ce n'est pas facile... ce que je fais pour me pratiquer, c'est des gammes sur mon violon avec l'archet, comme un peu avec la guitare... je pratique le rythme également. 2/4 et 4/4. Ensuite j'incorpore la gamme avec le rythme. Je ne joue pas vraiment de morceau encore. Je sais jouer Frère Jacque car cette mélodie 2/4 est très simple... je la connaît par coeur donc je me concentre sur ma position et tout enclencher en même temps. Le rythme, les notes, le temps et la position... J'aime bien cela mais je ne joue pas assez à mon goût....

Hi everyone.. i still playing my fiddle. I have grown up a little now i can play frère Jacque quite nicely. I'm begining to play When the saint go marching in !! maybe in 2 week i will begin playing Down by the Sally Garden, an irish ceol that is really nice. My first irish song can't wait to be able to play it... But i can say that violin is tought but compare to the joy of playing... i'l say that it not really that difficult as people tell me that it is !!!!!
