Instruments

Right now I play several different types of flutes and whistles, the piano, guitar, and dulcimer. But I would love to learn something different. I've heard from some people that I should try learning some kind of pipes. Any suggestions on instruments, what it would take to learn, prices, likes, sounds etc?

Looking forward to any feedback. What are your favorite Celtic instruments to learn?

Hi JoanMarie... well my favorite instrument is the fiddle, violin. I have learned a little bit of guitar and harmonica but the best celtic instrument is the violin :) I would like to play the Harp but way too costy and difficult lol.

About info on pipe instrument you should check your local dealer of instrument i know they can provide you with a lot of instrument. That what i did before buying my fiddle. I ask everything i needed from this seller and then i said to him that i would buy one but not now... after a month i was buying my first good violin and i'm happy about it !
