Dia dhuit! Is mise Jennifer. I am a native of Ottawa, Canada, with both Irish and French roots. Growing up with an Irish surname, my parents naturally played up that part of my heritage and thus began my love affair with all things Irish.
I am an avid lover of languages, travel and learning about new cultures. I am fluent in French and English, but can also hold basic conversation in Irish, Italian, Spanish and a tiny smattering of Polish. I like to dabble as time permits.
In the past, I played a large and active role in my city's Irish Society as their Chair of Communications; it was a wonderful and rewarding experience. By day, I work for the government in communications and event planning.
In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my hubby and little boy who just turned three - time flies! When I'm not chasing after the "boys", I love to run/exercise, read and watch the odd spot of t.v. I look to cook healthy food, decorate for pretty much every holiday and do lots of entertaining. In a nutshell - I can't sit still for a moment.
The works (minus heavy metal or rap). Recently I have been getting back into lots of Irish trad. I hope to start learning to play the harp or fiddle this year.
